Folk Conexion is a brand new initiative from Riksscenen, aiming both to promote British folk music in Norway and to initiate and encourage collaboration between the two countries.
Fiona Talkington, well-renowned producer and curator from amongst others the BBC, has assembled a collective of Norwegian and British musicians, who will part-take in the project. Each collaborative session will take place at Riksscenen over the course of 3 days, before culminating in a concert.
Our first Conexion-session will convene with an exciting mix of musicians and composers, all innovative and vastly experienced within their field. Amongst them are Sam Lee, Susanne Lundeng and Javid Afsari Rad.
